Jest Textiles prides itself on keeping up with fabric technologies and offers many different fabric laminates and coatings. With over 40+ years in the industry, we are the experts when it comes to fabric manufacturing technologies.
Here are just a few of the new highly technical fabric technologies we offer.
Isn't it time you used a new technology to
set you apart from your competition?
KwickWick is a moisture wicking, breathable fabric technology that keeps your body cool, dry and comfortable in any type of sports or outdoor environment without the use of any harsh chemicals.
KwickWick is neither a Chemical Treated Yarn nor a Chemical Fabric Coating, but a Multi-Layer Designed Fabric Technology.
This Multi-Layer breathable design makes KwickWick a non-chemical 100% all natural moisture wicking alternative that keeps your body cool and dry in any type of sports or outdoor environment.
This provides total comfort allowing your body to perform at maximum performance for longer periods of time.
And don't forget it's 100% all natural!
OSM Shield is one of the top fabric technologies that provides maximum water resistance, stain-resistance, and odor-resistance properties for a wide range of industries:

No Matter The Activity or Weather
37.5 Technology is a dynamic thermoregulation technology that triggers off of humidity.
Funny you ask. It’s not a made-up name like Google. It’s called 37.5 Technology because it helps keep your body at the ideal core temperature of 37.5° Celsius and helps keep the microclimate next to your skin at the ideal relative humidity of 37.5%.
37.5 Technology triggers off of humidity. Humidity is the gauge for whether you are hot or cold. When you’re hot, active particles embedded into the material use your body’s energy to remove moisture and cool you down. When you’re cold, the active particles retain the body’s energy to warm you up.
Patented 37.5 technology uses active particles made from volcanic sand that have billions of micropores, massively increasing the surface area of the material. These particles also absorb infrared (IR) light in the spectrum that the human body emits it, and this light becomes the energy that powers the particle. If no moisture (sweat vapor) is present, meaning you are cool, the particles retain this energy to warm you. If moisture (sweat vapor) is present, meaning you are hot, the particles use this energy to move moisture out of the clothing system. Without these active particles, water has no reason to leave the microclimate until relative humidity is much higher than is comfortable.
Want more? 37.5 active particles also trap odor molecules and then release them when they’re washed and dried. And speaking of washing, because the active particles are permanently embedded in the fiber they will last the lifetime of the garment.
37.5 technology was invented by Dr. Gregory Haggquist, a Ph.D. photo-physical chemist. Dr. Haggquist loves testing materials. In fact, he loves it so much he invented two important test methods that were adopted by the AATCC and are now widely used around the world to measure how fast fabrics dry (AATCC 200 and 201).
As much as he loves lab testing, Dr. Haggquist believes human testing is the best way to investigate how fabrics interact with the body. In human trials, 37.5 technology has been proven to increase athlete performance by reducing the increase of core temperature during activity, like wearing a cooling vest circulating cold water. This data can be found in the peer-reviewed article titled “Beneficial Effects of Cooling during Constant Power Non-Steady State Cycling” published by The International Journal of Sports Medicine, January 2017.
It’s also been proven to increase comfort by removing moisture in the vapor stage, before liquid sweat forms, to delay the onset of sweat. Human testing collected at Inside Climate Lab in Munich supports this claim.
This is the Secret to Bug Repellent
Outdoor Gear and Clothes
The Insect Shield process binds a proprietary permethrin formula tightly to fabric fibers—resulting in effective, odorless insect protection that lasts the expected lifetime of apparel. Permethrin has been successfully used in the United States as an U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)-registered product since 1977, with an excellent safety record. It is used in lice shampoos for children, flea dips for dogs, and various other products, some of which are regulated by the FDA.
Insect Shield® Repellent Apparel has been proven and registered to repel mosquitoes, ticks, ants, flies, chiggers, and midges (no-see-ums). Insect Shield® Repellent Gear has been proven and registered to repel mosquitoes, ticks, fleas, and flies. The EPA requires extensive effectiveness data to prove a product's ability to repel insects. Many species and varieties of these insects have been tested, including those that can carry dangerous diseases.
Insect Shield technology results from years of intensive research and field study. Numerous studies have confirmed the effectiveness of permethrin-treated clothing as an insect repellent. Insect Shield’s own testing methods follow United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) guidelines, and the results conclusively show that our unique, long-lasting insect protection works.
The repellency of Insect Shield apparel is EPA-registered to last through 70 launderings—the expected lifetime of a garment. This is also well beyond the life of most performance finishes commonly used in the technical-apparel industry

A Durable Omni Repellant (DOR) that Deflects Water,
Food, Oil, and Much More!
EverShield® is a Durable Omni Repellant (DOR) that when applied to fabric deflects water, food, oil, and offers much more like:
How it works:
EverShield® is applied to fabric at the time of manufacturing and establishes a polymer coating that encases each fiber of the material, significantly increasing durability through a complex protective matrix. The coating that is created maintains performance levels of long chain fluorocarbons while utilizing more acceptable six-carbon fluoropolymers.
The EverShield® Technology offers three key benefits which makes it a far superior product to anything else on the market today:
EverShield® Fabric Protection is a Durable Omni Repellant (DOR) that deflects water, food, oil and much more.
NeverWet® is one of the top fabric manufacturing technologies that is a superhydrophobic fabric treatment that once applied and cured dramatically repels water, mud, ice, and other liquids. This revolutionary new class of coatings causes water to form nearly perfect spheres or tiny beads which roll off the surface of the fabric keeping items dry and clean.
Overview of Superhydrophobic:
Untreated Surfaces: Water forms flat "pools" that stick to surfaces resulting in excessive moisture damage on surface
Hydrophobic Surfaces: Water forms partially rounded beads resulting in some droplets rolling off of surfaces, while others remain in a pool
Superhydrophobic Surfaces: Water forms partially rounded beads resulting in water rolling effortlessly off of treated surfaces, keeping them dry and protected
